Terms of Service

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials (including any linked wallet private keys) and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Platform
• Manipulate XP, leaderboard rankings, badges, or other gamification features through bots, scripts, or other automated means
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without our prior written consent
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our sole discretion.

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to articles, research reports, course materials, videos, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Blockchain Academics or its content licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may access and use Platform content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Platform content without our express written permission.

If you submit content to the Platform (such as forum posts or comments), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform.

The Platform features a gamification system including Experience Points (XP), badges, leaderboards, and certificates. These features are designed to encourage learning and engagement.

XP and badges have no monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for cash, cryptocurrency, or any other form of compensation. They are not securities, tokens, or financial instruments of any kind.

We reserve the right to modify, reset, or discontinue the XP and rewards system at any time without prior notice. Accumulated XP and badges do not confer any ownership rights.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Content on the Platform, including news articles, research, and market data, is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always do your own research and consult qualified professionals before making any financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Blockchain Academics and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
