Trump Media Moves 4,259 BTC to Crypto.com Near Note Collateral Size

Wallets linked to Trump Media sent 4,259 BTC, roughly $342M to $344M, to Crypto.com on Nov. 5. The amount nearly matches the 4,260.73 BTC pledged against convertible notes that holders can put back on Nov. 30. No source confirms a sale.

4,259 BTC. Roughly $342M to $344M. That is what wallets linked to Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) sent to Crypto.com on Nov. 5, per Lookonchain and Arkham data. The amount nearly matches the 4,260.73 BTC the company pledged as collateral for its convertible notes.

Lookonchain flagged the transfer "40 minutes ago" in a Nov. 5 post. It came in two batches, 2,140.03 BTC and 2,119.31 BTC, at 02:17 UTC. The coins left addresses Arkham labels "2028 Convertible Notes Collateral" for an address labeled "34jvU…", reportedly owned by Crypto.com. Dollar values vary by source: $343.67M via Lookonchain, about $344M in one report, $342M in another.

Collateral, not confirmed sale

No source confirms a sale. The company's June 30 10-Q lists 4,260.73 BTC pledged against the notes. Loan terms restrict withdrawal or distribution until conditions are met, or May 2028 at the latest. That cuts against a quick sale.

Arkham shows just 1.3 BTC left in the tracked wallet, though its tags can miss wallets.

Crypto.com is one of two custodians for the company's Bitcoin treasury. A 2,650 BTC transfer in May also went there. Trump Media has previously described similar moves to Crypto.com as trading or custody management, not sales.

The November 30 put

The timing is the problem. A Nov. 2 securities filing says noteholders can require repayment on Nov. 30, potentially forcing a payment of roughly $1 billion. It warns Trump Media may have to sell bitcoin or other digital assets if refinancing falls short.

The move equals about 30% of the roughly 14,139 BTC the company said it held, including pledged coins, as of July 31. At June 30 it reported 9,477 BTC: $1.01 billion cost basis, $557 million fair value.

Market backdrop

The stress shows elsewhere too. DJT shares fell 24.5% to a record low after the US midterm elections. The TRUMP meme coin dropped 16% in 24 hours to an all-time low. The company posted a $238M quarterly net loss and $361M of digital asset losses in the first half of 2026, and in August terminated its planned CRO treasury venture.

Not every bitcoin treasury is under the same strain: American Bitcoin reported holdings rising to about 8,427 BTC. For Trump Media, the chain will show whether these coins stay in custody or head to market before Nov. 30.
