JPMorgan Brings MONY and JLTXX Tokenized Money Funds to Solana
J.P. Morgan Asset Management has made its MONY and JLTXX tokenized money market funds available on Solana through Morgan Money. Both were already on Ethereum. The real test: sustained balances and holder growth, not launch headlines.
Wall Street cash management just landed on the chain better known for memecoins and retail flow. J.P. Morgan Asset Management has made its tokenized money market funds, MONY and JLTXX, available on Solana through its Morgan Money platform. Both funds were already live on Ethereum, so this widens distribution for existing products rather than launching new ones.
Qualified U.S. investors can handle subscriptions, redemptions and token balances from a single Morgan Money interface.
The pitch goes beyond yield on idle cash. The funds can serve as reserve and cash-management tools for eligible stablecoin issuers operating under the U.S. GENIUS Act framework. That puts a bank-run money market product directly in the path of stablecoin issuers looking for somewhere to hold backing assets onchain.
The move puts J.P. Morgan alongside firms including BlackRock in testing how tokenized funds can operate across public blockchain networks. The bank has been busy onchain lately: it also brought JPM Coin to Ethereum, though that is a separate product aimed at payments and settlement.
What the Solana data says
Data shared by Solana Sensei shows tokenized credit holders on Solana at a record 19,789. Tokenized-stock holders across tracked markets sit at roughly 1.5 million, up 6.7%. NVDAx leads with about 190,100 holders, followed by SPCX at 111,100.

The real test
For traders, the headline matters less than the flows. The next test is whether the funds attract sustained balances and transaction activity, or end up as another high-profile launch that goes quiet.
That is worth taking seriously. Large institutional deposits can inflate tokenized asset totals fast, and a single big allocation can make a chain's numbers look healthy overnight. Holder counts are the better gauge of real participation.
So watch holder counts and redemption activity on MONY and JLTXX over the coming weeks. Those will show whether Solana is a real venue for institutional cash or just a logo on a press release.
