H100 Group AB, a publicly listed health technology company based in Stockholm, has made history by becoming the first public firm in Sweden to adopt Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset. The company announced the purchase of 4.39 BTC—valued at 5 million NOK (approximately $475,000)—as part of its long-term Bitcoin Treasury Strategy.

The purchase was made at an average price of 1,138,737 NOK per Bitcoin (roughly $108,200). This strategic move aligns H100 Group with a growing trend among forward-looking technology companies opting to diversify their reserves with Bitcoin amid evolving macroeconomic conditions and rising institutional interest.

H100 specializes in AI-powered automation and digital healthcare solutions, and its pivot toward Bitcoin does not impact its operational focus. According to CEO Sander Andersen, “the values of individual sovereignty highly present in the Bitcoin community align well with, and will appeal to, the customers and communities we are building the H100 platform for.”

The decision mirrors similar strategies by other tech firms in 2025, including Twenty One Capital and Strive, reflecting a broader transformation in corporate treasury management. For many of these companies, Bitcoin represents a hedge against fiat currency devaluation and a way to express alignment with decentralized, sovereign financial systems.

Notably, H100’s announcement came as Bitcoin traded at $111,108, showing a 1.28% daily increase. Market optimism continues to grow amid sustained institutional adoption. Following the announcement, H100 shares closed up 1.37% at 0.89 SEK on the NGM Nordic SME exchange.

As the first Swedish firm of its kind to adopt a Bitcoin reserve, H100 Group’s decision could set a precedent for other Nordic companies navigating financial innovation and long-term strategic positioning.
