DigitalX Limited, a publicly traded blockchain technology firm based in Australia, has entered into a strategic partnership with infrastructure provider SOL Strategies to stake its Solana holdings through BitGo's institutional-grade custody platform. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for institutional crypto engagement, particularly within the rapidly expanding Solana ecosystem.

As part of the agreement, SOL Strategies will serve as the validator for DigitalX’s Solana assets, leveraging BitGo’s recently integrated support for SOL validators. The move enables DigitalX to pursue yield-generating strategies on its Solana investments while maintaining robust custody and security protocols.

“This partnership underscores our commitment to institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure,” said SOL Strategies CEO Leah Wald. “DigitalX shares our vision for broadening access to the digital economy, and their trust in our validator performance affirms the strength of our platform.”

DigitalX Interim CEO Demetrios Christou echoed the sentiment, calling SOL Strategies a "best-in-class" partner. He highlighted the company’s high-performance capabilities and seamless BitGo integration as decisive factors in the collaboration.

The partnership adds momentum to recent developments surrounding SOL Strategies, which recently joined BitGo’s select validator network. This integration makes SOL Strategies one of the few validator services available to institutional clients through BitGo, simplifying access to secure staking infrastructure.

The announcement comes on the heels of broader institutional interest in Solana. Just days prior, Superstate launched "Opening Bell," a platform enabling SEC-registered public shares to be issued and traded on blockchain networks, beginning with Solana. SOL Strategies was the first company to list its shares through the new system, signaling the increasing convergence of traditional markets with digital asset infrastructure.

Both DigitalX and SOL Strategies are publicly listed companies and have aligned their strategies around providing regulated, scalable digital asset solutions. Their partnership demonstrates a growing appetite among institutions to engage with staking and custody services that meet rigorous compliance and performance standards.

As institutional appetite for blockchain-native financial tools continues to grow, collaborations like this one reflect a maturing industry focused on bridging the gap between traditional finance and the decentralized future.
