CEA Industries Accelerates BNB Accumulation as Token Hits Record Highs
CEA boosts BNB holdings to 480,000 tokens as prices hit record highs, nearing its 1% supply goal.
CEA Industries is rapidly advancing toward its bold goal of owning 1% of the total Binance Coin (BNB) supply, as the company confirmed it now holds 480,000 tokens valued at approximately $585.5 million. The milestone, announced on October 7, comes amid BNB’s surge to new all-time highs above $1,300, marking one of the strongest rallies among major cryptocurrencies this quarter.
The Nasdaq-listed firm, led by CEO David Namdar, has been steadily increasing its exposure to BNB since early September, when it first disclosed holdings of 388,888 tokens. Over the past month, CEA added another 91,000 BNB, deploying roughly $78 million as the asset’s price continued its climb into record territory. The company’s average purchase price stands at $860 per token, putting its total crypto and cash reserves at an estimated $663 million.
Namdar described the strategy as a deliberate and long-term conviction play. “BNB’s all-time highs are a clear validation that the global markets are waking up to the inherent value, credibility, scale, and utility of both the asset and the underlying ecosystem,” he said in a statement. “We view BNB not just as a token, but as the fulcrum of a massively integrated ecosystem.”
The company’s objective to accumulate 1% of the total BNB supply by the end of 2025 effectively mirrors MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin accumulation approach and BitMine’s Ethereum strategy — a move that aligns corporate treasury management with long-term crypto exposure. Currently, CEA has achieved roughly half of its target, underscoring its confidence in BNB’s role within the Binance ecosystem.
BNB’s performance has provided fertile ground for CEA’s strategy. The token has appreciated roughly 30% over the past week, recently touching $1,336 — its highest level to date. With a market capitalization exceeding $180 billion, BNB now sits comfortably ahead of Solana and is approaching parity with Tether and XRP, cementing its position among the largest digital assets by value.
Investor reaction to CEA’s accumulation has been swift and overwhelmingly positive. The company’s stock (BNC) surged 15% on Monday and added another 7.9% on Tuesday, according to Yahoo Finance data. The rally reflects growing market enthusiasm around crypto-heavy treasury strategies, which have gained renewed attention amid the sector’s resurgence in 2025.
CEA’s move also underscores a broader shift among institutional players toward more concentrated digital asset strategies, betting on the sustained growth and network effects of leading blockchain ecosystems. While diversification remains the norm across traditional portfolios, CEA’s concentrated bet on BNB suggests an emerging narrative: conviction over dispersion.
If current trends persist, CEA could reach its 1% ownership goal well before its 2025 deadline, potentially positioning itself as the largest corporate holder of BNB — and a pivotal player in shaping the token’s institutional narrative.
