Bybit Kazakhstan Launches Direct Fiat Gateway in Partnership With Bank CenterCredit
Bybit Kazakhstan partners with Bank CenterCredit to open a direct fiat channel, boosting crypto accessibility and fintech integration.
In a move to accelerate crypto adoption in Central Asia, Bybit Kazakhstan has launched a direct fiat deposit and withdrawal channel in partnership with Bank CenterCredit (BCC), one of the leading financial institutions in Kazakhstan. The initiative enables users to perform seamless transactions in the national currency, the Kazakhstani tenge (KZT), directly through their bank accounts.
This collaboration represents a major step toward bridging traditional finance and the digital asset economy. Bybit, the world’s second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, is enhancing its local presence via Bybit Kazakhstan, a licensed and regulated entity under the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA).
“This is a meaningful step in supporting Kazakhstan’s growing interest in blockchain technology,” said Michelle D., Head of Regulated Regions at Bybit. “Partnering with Bank CenterCredit allows us to bridge the gap between traditional finance and crypto, while operating within a fully regulated framework.”
The new fiat channel streamlines the onboarding (on-ramp) and offboarding (off-ramp) processes for Kazakhstani users. It ensures transparency, regulatory compliance, and rapid transactions by allowing direct funding and withdrawals between user accounts on Bybit.kz and their BCC bank accounts.
The cooperation leverages BCC’s robust position in the domestic banking sector and complements Bybit’s growing product suite designed for the regional market. Bybit Kazakhstan, which introduced its native platform in October 2024, has continued expanding its services to match local regulatory requirements and user preferences.
The fiat integration also marks a strategic milestone in embedding international crypto platforms into Kazakhstan’s developing digital finance ecosystem. It emphasizes local relevance while maintaining global standards.
Looking ahead, Bybit Kazakhstan plans additional integrations with local payment providers, reinforcing its commitment to long-term regional growth and financial inclusivity. Interested users can explore regulated services at Bybit.kz, which operates under AFSA oversight.
