Blockchain analytics platform Bubblemaps has unveiled a bold incentive program that rewards community members for tracking down fraudulent activity in the cryptocurrency industry. Through its new feature, Intel Desk, the company will distribute 30 million BMT tokens—about 3% of its total supply—over the first year, with rewards paid out in quarterly Bitcoin airdrops.

The initiative represents roughly $2 million in current market value, based on BMT’s price of around $0.0647. Nicolas Vaiman, founder of Bubblemaps, framed the launch as a way to transform the tedious work of crypto investigation into a collective, gamified effort. By offering financial incentives, the platform aims to expand its reach and attract a wider community of fraud hunters motivated not just by curiosity but also by tangible rewards.

Intel Desk introduces a permanent system for cataloging fraud cases, moving beyond the fleeting nature of social media posts. Investigations that might once have been buried in Twitter threads are now indexed, archived, and tied to specific blockchain addresses or projects. This means that community contributions are no longer ephemeral but part of a living record, accessible to users and industry participants who want to track the movements of bad actors.

Rewards are distributed through seasonal airdrops, with contributors earning based on the relevance and impact of their investigations. Bubblemaps has also designed a system where users can fund or vote on cases, with fees feeding back into the reward pool. This approach not only sustains the system but also opens the door to a broader marketplace where investigative value can be directly financed and rewarded.

Future iterations will extend the program with bounty-style mechanics, allowing anyone to post a case and back it with BMT tokens. If an investigator produces meaningful findings, rewards will be distributed proportionally. The model resembles a decentralized intelligence bureau, where transparency and tokenized incentives converge to address one of crypto’s most persistent challenges: the recycling of scams under new names and faces.

Beyond straightforward fraud detection, Intel Desk also covers suspicious token launches and questionable activities by prominent figures in the industry. This is especially relevant given how often insiders or influencers re-emerge after failed or fraudulent projects. By creating a permanent, verifiable record of such behavior, Bubblemaps hopes to bring greater accountability into a sector often criticized for its opacity.

Since its launch in 2022, Bubblemaps has grown to roughly 300,000 monthly active users, thanks to its unique bubble-style data visualizations that make blockchain activity easier to interpret. The company rose to prominence earlier this year after exposing pseudonymous trader Naseem’s $100 million profit from trading the official TRUMP meme coin. With the BMT token launched in March, Intel Desk is its first major utility, and the company has hinted at a tighter connection between the token and its upcoming V2 product release.

In an industry where scams have eroded public trust, Bubblemaps is betting that aligning community vigilance with financial rewards can reshape how fraud is tracked, reported, and deterred.
