Bitget Wallet Launches USD and EUR Virtual Accounts via Noah

Bitget Wallet's new Virtual Account gives users personal USD and EUR account numbers from Noah. ACH, Fedwire, SEPA and SWIFT deposits convert to USDT or USDC on arrival, but money only flows in for now: outbound transfers are planned for the coming months.

Bank wires can now land straight in a self-custodial wallet. Bitget Wallet switched on a feature called Virtual Account on October 27, 2026, handing each user personal USD and EUR account numbers inside the app.

The accounts are supplied by Noah, a stablecoin payments infrastructure provider. Deposits arriving over ACH, Fedwire, SEPA and SWIFT are accepted now and convert on arrival to USDT or USDC. Opening an account is free, with no local residency or branch visit required.

One big catch: money only flows in for now. Outbound transfers are planned for the coming months, so anyone who needs to move funds back into the banking system has to find another route until they ship.

Fees and the pitch

Bitget Wallet says a $500 ACH transfer costs about $2 in its own fees. It compares that with a global average remittance cost of around 6%, or roughly $30 on $500, citing World Bank data. Sending banks and blockchain networks may charge separately, so the all-in number can differ. The first 1,000 eligible users whose first deposit qualifies get all transaction fees refunded.

Once funds land, they can be used across the wallet's card, QR payments, cross-border transfers, yield products and investments.

"Crypto wallets are evolving into everyday financial hubs, bringing together the tools people need to receive, manage, and move money globally while maintaining control of their assets"

Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet

Noah's founder framed it in neobank terms.

"It effectively works like a global neobank, except users control their own keys"

Shah Ramezani, Founder and CEO of Noah

Reach and the fine print

The feature is available in more than 160 countries and regions, but eligibility depends on location, so not every user will see both USD and EUR accounts. Bitget Wallet says it has more than 100 million users and a user protection fund of more than $300 million.

The trade-offs are plain. Users depend on Noah as the licensed intermediary for the fiat leg, and what they hold is USDT or USDC, not dollars or euros at a bank. Noah holds money transmitter licences in about 30 US states, plus registrations in Canada and Lithuania.

Context

This is not Noah's first wallet tie-up. It brought EUR and USD virtual accounts to Ledger Wallet in October 2025 and agreed a deal covering Fin.com users that December. Bitget Wallet is the latest self-custody app to bolt on bank rails this way.

The wallet is separate from the Bitget exchange, which lost about $388 million in September and recently agreed to buy a licensed Thai exchange from GMO Internet.

For traders, the practical value is cheap on-ramping into stablecoins without touching a centralized exchange. Until withdrawals arrive, though, it is a one-way door.
