Binance Square Launches Live Trading to Redefine SocialFi and Monetize Creator Strategies

Binance Square has taken a bold step toward transforming the SocialFi landscape with the introduction of Live Trading, a new feature that allows users to place trades directly during livestreams. Announced on May 26, this integration blends real-time education, trading execution, and creator monetization into a single, seamless experience.

The platform now enables users to follow verified creators, interact through pinned strategy cards, and execute spot or futures trades without ever leaving the livestream. According to Jeff Li, Binance’s Head of Product, "Live Trading is designed to make trading more accessible, interactive, and engaging…It’s a natural evolution of Binance Square.”

This innovation marks a significant leap in how users engage with content, merging financial action with creator-led learning. During a stream, viewers can engage with strategy cards showing trade details such as the pair, direction, and size—transforming passive viewing into participatory finance.

For creators, Binance is opening new monetization pathways, including up to 50% in commissions from referred trades, enhanced visibility through campaigns, and a Live Trading Incubation Program for emerging influencers. Verified creators with at least 1,000 followers can also publish historical trade data, increasing transparency and trust within the community.

The move reflects a larger trend in Web3: the fusion of content, education, and financial utility. Unlike earlier models such as Pump.fun, criticized for speculative livestreams with minimal oversight, Binance emphasizes transparency and risk disclosure. The regulated structure, combined with live execution, sets a new standard for interactive crypto education.

The evolution is also mirrored in other SocialFi projects like COOKIE DAO’s decentralized content economy and Kaito’s AI-driven monetization for Web3 influencers. Together, these platforms are reshaping how creators earn and users learn in the crypto space.
