ABOUT KAMINO Kamino's mission is to create liquidity and utility for every asset. We want the world's best investments to be available through the financial platforms people already trust, and we want investors to be able to borrow against what they own when they need liquidity, instead of having to sell. Today, the most valuable assets in the world are often the least useful to own. Trillions of dollars sit in private markets, behind high minimums and holding periods that can run for years. Tokenization is starting to move these assets onto shared, programmable infrastructure, but putting an asset onchain is only the first step. To be useful, it still needs distribution, compliance, servicing, credit and liquidity. Kamino already runs the credit and liquidity engine at scale. It is the largest credit protocol on Solana and the largest credit platform for real-world assets onchain, with more than $650 billion in cumulative transaction volume and more than $20 billion in loans originated. Now we are building the rest of that system for institutions. Kamino recently named Yieldstreet co-founder Michael Weisz as CEO and is building a new HQ in New York, alongside the asset managers and financial platforms that will shape this market. Almost none of that market exists yet, and we intend to build it. Create the campaigns and motion that make Kamino's products clear, distinctive, and memorable. THE ROLE Kamino is hiring a Brand and Motion Designer to turn complex financial products into clear ideas, distinctive campaigns and compelling visual work. This is a motion-forward role: product videos and social motion will be central, alongside static design across launches, web, events and product marketing. You will work directly with our Creative Director and take projects from brief through final delivery. Motion should shape the campaign from the first concept, not arrive as an adaptation at the end. You will own the thinking, production and connected set of assets needed to bring each campaign to life. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Own campaigns from concept to delivery. Turn product briefs into a clear creative idea and a coordinated set of launch assets, working closely with the Creative Director and product and marketing teams. - Create compelling product motion. Concept, storyboard, animate and edit product and social videos that make complex products understandable and show interfaces accurately. - Deliver strong static brand work. Extend campaign ideas across social, web, events and product-marketing materials, maintaining a distinctive and consistent visual identity. - Build reusable creative systems. Develop templates, motion patterns and AI-assisted workflows that increase production capacity without compromising craft. - Own the quality and delivery of your work. Manage projects through critique, iteration and final production, balancing multiple launches and delivering complete, production-ready assets. WHAT YOU BRING - 3–6 years in brand, motion, visual or communication design, with a portfolio showing strong brand craft, motion or video, and campaign thinking across connected assets. - Strong typography, composition, hierarchy, pacing and storytelling, including accurate, clear motion around products or interfaces. - Advanced Figma and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, especially After Effects and Premiere, plus working proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D or comparable 3D software. - Experience taking campaigns or product-marketing work from brief through concept, production and delivery. You can understand a product, its audience and the value the work needs to communicate. - Hands-on use of AI image or video generation, backed by strong design fundamentals and the ability to refine outputs yourself, plus experience building reusable templates, systems or automated production workflows. - Clear communication and reliable project management: you explain your choices, respond well to critique and deliver on time while working independently with a distributed team. STRONGLY PREFERRED - Brand or campaign experience for SaaS, technology or financial products. - Web design or landing-page experience. - Experience using AI to explore code-driven motion through shaders, procedural illustration, Three.js or other 3D tools, and an interest in building custom creative tools. Developer-level skill is not required. - Familiarity with crypto, DeFi or onchain financial products. WORKING AT KAMINO You will report to our Creative Director and work closely with Brand, Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering. You will take part in regular critique and own the thinking and production required to bring each project to completion. This is a full-time role, remote in North America (Canada, the United States, or Mexico), or hybrid in New York City with four days per week in the office. Substantial working-day overlap with Pacific Time is required. Launch work sometimes moves quickly and requires focused production around important release dates. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The expected annual base salary range for this role is USD $100,000–$150,000. This USD base salary range applies to candidates in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Kamino expects to offer a competitive package consisting of base salary, a performance-based bonus and long-term KMNO participation. Final terms will reflect the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and agreed scope of the role. Benefits and applicable employment terms will be documented as part of the formal offer. Kamino is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building an inclusive workplace. Kamino does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
