After weeks of sluggish performance in the memecoin market, PEPE is once again capturing traders’ attention following a massive whale transaction worth 281 billion tokens. The move, detected by on-chain analytics platformThe Data Nerd, triggered renewed optimism among investors, who now view this transfer as a potential catalyst for a bullish reversal in the frog-themed cryptocurrency.

At press time, PEPE was down 1.43%, yet its trading volume had surged by 60%, a sign of mounting activity beneath the surface. Analysts suggest that this volume spike, combined with strengthening whale accumulation, could signal an early phase of renewed market confidence. According to CryptoQuant data, both spot and futures order sizes from large holders have increased by approximately 0.12% since mid-October, marking the first notable uptick in institutional-scale participation in weeks.

The market’s structural signals also appear to be shifting in favor of the bulls. Since mid-September, the Spot Taker Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) has remained dominated by buyers, reflecting stronger demand pressure even as broader sentiment across the memecoin sector remains muted. This uptick in whale and buyer activity suggests that a key support level around $0.0000060 could play a decisive role in shaping PEPE’s next move.

Technically, PEPE is consolidating just above this critical support after breaking below a triangular pattern that had persisted since early May. Historically, this level has served as a reliable springboard for previous rallies. In late 2024, the same price zone preceded a sharp bullish breakout toward $0.000015, following a double-bottom formation that ended months of downward momentum.

Current indicators, however, remain mixed. The MACD has turned marginally positive, hinting at potential upward momentum, while the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) sits at a modest 0.02 — suggesting limited capital inflows for now. Should PEPE hold its position above $0.0000060, traders could see renewed buying pressure pushing the price toward liquidity pockets in the $0.0000071 to $0.0000074 range. These areas, highlighted by CoinGlass data, represent clusters of resting orders that could attract price movement upward.

Conversely, a failure to maintain support could expose the token to further downside risk, potentially dragging it below $0.0000050 and even revisiting 2024 lows near $0.0000010. Market participants are closely watching whether buyers can defend the structure and reestablish momentum before that threshold is breached.

In the short term, liquidity remains the key driver. After clearing heavy liquidity around $0.0000068, PEPE briefly rebounded to $0.00000696 before facing renewed selling pressure. Still, with more liquidity stacked above current price levels than below, analysts argue that upward continuation remains the more probable near-term outcome.

PEPE’s next major move hinges on whale conviction and structural resilience. If large holders continue accumulating and on-chain momentum persists, the memecoin could stage a recovery reminiscent of past rallies — transforming what now appears as a fragile consolidation into the first leg of a broader bullish trend.
