In a powerful show of confidence in Ripple's XRP, three companies from diverse sectors have announced plans to allocate a combined $471 million to the digital asset for use in their corporate treasuries. This marks one of the most significant institutional commitments to XRP to date, expanding its utility beyond remittances and into broader corporate finance.

Webus International, a global payments firm, leads the charge with a proposed $300 million XRP reserve. In documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Webus outlined XRP’s role in enabling fast, cross-border transactions. The company argues that XRP can boost liquidity and simplify operations across international markets, positioning it as a next-generation financial instrument.

VivoPower, a Nasdaq-listed clean energy company, has committed $121 million to its XRP treasury strategy. The funding was secured through a $6.05 per-share sale of 20 million shares, underwritten by Saudi Arabia’s Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud. Executives view XRP as a financial asset aligned with the company’s innovation-driven sustainability agenda.

Meanwhile, U.S.-based pharmaceutical distributor Wellgistics plans to allocate $50 million in XRP, backed by an equity line of credit. The company intends to hold XRP in its reserves and use it to facilitate instant payments across its pharmacy network—a move that could modernize payment infrastructure in the healthcare supply chain.

This trio of announcements underscores XRP’s growing traction as a versatile corporate asset. The fact that companies across finance, energy, and healthcare are embracing XRP indicates a shift in how digital assets are perceived—not just as speculative tools, but as practical instruments for treasury management and operational efficiency.

Commentators like ChainStories on X (formerly Twitter) have noted this as a pivotal moment. While these proposals remain pending, their mere announcement speaks volumes about changing attitudes toward Ripple’s technology in corporate finance.

Though regulatory outcomes and market volatility may impact final implementations, the willingness of major players to explore XRP at this scale suggests a new chapter in digital asset integration. If actualized, these treasury strategies could help elevate XRP’s role in enterprise finance and inspire similar moves across industries.
